Most of us are worked up and can’t wait to go back to the clinic.
We crave for that normal day at the clinic every day. We miss going to the clinic, having a look at the day’s appointments, calling the dental lab to check if the work is ready, treating one patient after the other, chatting with the staff, having good conversations with the sweet patients and handling the patients with a bad temper.
We miss it all the good the bad and the ugly.
The clinic is like our second home we spend a big chunk of our day at the clinic and the time we are not at the clinic we are thinking about the clinic.
We constantly think of ways to improve our practice, we are always in the lookout for either upgrading ourselves or upgrading the clinic.
Which is a very good thing and this is a great time to take notice of the small details you may want to change. This quarantine has given us time to introspect and upgrade ourselves.
We have the internet through which we can track how dentists in other countries where the situation is probably worse are coping.
It will help us in getting an idea of ways to tackle the Coronavirus once the lockdown has ended.
We shall use this time to strategize because once the quarantine ends we might never get such a time to think and evaluate where we stand.
On an ending note remember that you are not alone in this. We are all in the same boat, equally tensed and paranoid about the situation.
Hang in there! It is only if we follow the rules of the lockdown can we go back to that normal day at the clinic and do what we love.
